Prague University Summer Courses

At prague college we continue to respond to the measures set by the czech government in response to the global covid 19 pandemic.

Prague university summer courses. This eight hour course with small class sizes fewer than 13 students equips students with the necessary language skills in order to survive in prague. The course takes place at the study centre prague hostivar. The czech language programme summer flas prague is an intensive seven week language course arranged exclusively for us undergraduate and graduate students who are in receipt of a summer fellowship from the foreign language and area studies flas fellowship programme. The capacity of our course is full and the registration is closed.

Course availability is contingent upon student interest and enrollment and is subject to change. In 2020 cesp will organize one term of summer university in prague for international students lasting five weeks. Nearly 50 000 students are enrolled in more than 300 accredited degree programmes. The fee for each summer school course is 12 000 czk or the equivalent in your currency.

At least one 3 credit course is required each summer session. The faculties are fairly independent and receive funding per student s head. Open to 17 years and up or younger on a case by case basis. Located in the heart of beautiful prague charles university is one of the oldest universities in the world founded in 1348 and the top ranked university in the czech republic.

The courses taught in english include business practicalities marketing or international relations. The objective of the summer university prague 2019 european identity between unity and diversity is to provide students with a broad understanding of the most significant political and social issues in contemporary europe. There are 5 or 6 classes each 45 minutes long on normal working days. You will enroll in three to five credits per session plus one additional credit if enrolled in the optional vienna and budapest field study.

July 7 august 14 2020. Courses taught in english and in other foreign languages. During your erasmus study stay at charles university in prague you will belong to one of the 17 faculties the university is formed out. In order to better prepare students for their stay in prague all students will participate in a two day survival czech course taught by a charles university professor.
